Spanish Ultra High End audio brand WADAX presented its new WADAX Studio DAC Collection at High End Vienna 2026, expanding the Studio line with a modular digital playback system built around separate DAC and digital transport components. The new components complement the Studio series, which already includes the complete WADAX Studio Player, Studio Clock, Studio PSU and Akasa DC cables.

Italian company Gold Note has released the Gold Note DS-5.2 network player. The device combines the functions of a streamer, digital source and digital-to-analogue converter. The new model joins the compact Series 5.2 component range and, according to the manufacturer, uses a number of engineering solutions familiar from the higher-end DS-10 EVO.

Vietnamese company ThivanLabs prepared two notable new products for High End Vienna 2026. At the event in Vienna, the brand showed for the first time the Ultimate 300 Preamp tube preamplifier, as well as the new passive GrandHorn Gamma horn loudspeakers. In addition, components from the related Mavis Lab brand were presented at the ThivanLabs stand.

JBL presented two new top-tier loudspeaker systems at High End Vienna 2026 – the JBL Summit Everest and JBL Summit K2. These models became the final additions to the Summit line, which had already included the Summit Makalu, Summit Pumori and Summit Ama. In this way, the brand has effectively completed the formation of its new premium home loudspeaker series.

British company Chord Electronics has announced the global preview of two new stereo power amplifiers built using its proprietary ULTIMA technology. The devices will be shown to the public for the first time at HIGH END Vienna 2026, while the full debut, including specifications, pricing and all technical details, is expected in the autumn.

Swiss company Orpheus Lab is preparing two premieres for High End Vienna 2026. At the event, the company will present the flagship Orpheus Lab H Three M1400 Opus II monoblock power amplifiers, as well as the Orpheus Lab A Four N200 integrated network amplifier. Both models are aimed at the High End segment and are intended to demonstrate the further development of the brand’s proprietary amplification technologies.

Cantico has introduced its new digital-to-analogue converter, the Cantico J-DAC. The device was developed and is manufactured in Ponderano, Italy, where the brand, led by Silvio Germano Ricci, produces handcrafted audio components and loudspeaker systems.

Cayin has expanded its range of compact Hi-Fi electronics with the new Cayin BTC-2. The model combines several functions at once: a Bluetooth receiver, digital-to-analog converter, preamplifier and headphone amplifier. This solution is aimed at users who want a quick and convenient way to connect modern digital sources to a classic audio system, active speakers or wired headphones.

British company AVID Hifi has introduced an updated version of the AVID Ingenium SE vinyl turntable. The new model continues the concept of the original Ingenium Plug&Play, launched in 2013, but receives notable changes in the most important parts of the design: the drive system, power supply and tonearm.

Raidho Acoustics is preparing to premiere its new X1.6 Reference standmount loudspeaker at High End Vienna 2026, which will take place from June 4 to 7 at the Austria Center Vienna. The new model is a more advanced version of the Raidho X1.6 and is aimed at listeners who want the brand’s characteristic scale, speed and resolution in a compact format, without moving up to large floorstanding systems.

British company Chord Electronics has completed work on the Quartet digital upscaler, a device that has been in development for around two years. Its first prototype was shown at the High End Show in Munich in 2024, although at that stage it was more of a demonstration sample. Now, the Quartet is preparing for commercial launch, while Chord Electronics itself describes the new product as one of the most significant in the company’s 37-year history.

Swiss company Revox has introduced the Studiomaster CD100 CD player, a digital source designed for the brand’s Studiomaster M500 and M300 systems. The new model is intended to operate within the Revox Multiuser 3.0 ecosystem and supports CD-DA and CD-R disc playback.

PSI Audio will exhibit from 4th to 7th June 2026 at HIGH END 2026 in room H X5 V03 (Level 0) of the Austria Center Vienna. Visitors will be treated to demonstrations of the high-end speakers PSI Audio Héritage3, which adapt the renowned professional fidelity of the Swiss manufacturer to audiophile living rooms. The famous active bass trap PSI Audio AVAA C214 will also be available for demos.

Burmester has introduced the 259 power amplifier, which the company itself describes as a “quiet revolution”. The new model was first shown in September 2025: in keeping with Burmester tradition, the year and month of its debut are reflected in the model name. The unit is now ready to be integrated into music systems of the highest class.

British brand Tannoy is preparing to mark its 100th anniversary with special versions of the Westminster Royal GR and Canterbury GR loudspeaker systems. Founded in 1926, the company has dedicated limited editions of models from the Prestige Gold Reference series to its centenary. The new products will be shown at High End Vienna 2026, which will take place in early June.
