Pro-Ject has released a new balanced tube phono preamplifier Pro-Ject Tube Box S3 B. Despite its modest dimensions, the model is equipped with both RCA and mini-XLR inputs, as well as XLR and RCA outputs – so integration into a balanced path will be ideal.
The Pro-Ject Tube Box S3 B phonostage is made using the “dual mono” topology, the circuit of the device uses only discrete components, and the RIAA correction circuit is made semi-passive to eliminate phase and frequency distortions. The Pro-Ject Tube Box S3 B case is made of metal and shields the circuitry from external interference and noise.
The use of lamps in the Pro-Ject Tube Box S3 B promises a natural and harmonious sound and the switchable Subsonic filter allows you to level out the background in systems with complex wiring of the ground wire. Full specs coming soon.
