Fosi Audio has launched a pre-order campaign for the new Fosi Audio Luna3 turntable on Kickstarter, with the model costing $349.99. The turntable is designed in the concept of minimalism and simplicity and offers a number of very interesting engineering solutions.
The model uses a servo motor and Hall sensor ensure ultra-steady rotation with ±0.11% accuracy for 33 1/3 and 45 rpm, which is quite impressive for this price category. The tonearm is also interesting – 8.6” long, low-resonance, it is made of aluminum. The tonearm overhang is 22 mm, and manual anti-skating adjustment is also available.
The Fosi Audio Luna3 comes with a factory-installed MM-type Audio-Technica VM95E cartridge, which is mounted on a copper tonearm shell. The stylus and cartridge are easily replaced, which allows you to easily adjust the sound according to your preferences.
The Fosi Audio Luna3 turntable has a 300 mm clear acrylic platter and a black plinth, offering a minimalist aesthetic that matches Fosi’s design philosophy: “less is more.” The company decided to forgo a built-in phono preamp, offering instead a pure analog output, allowing each user to combine it with their preferred external preamp.
