At the BIAV 2025 show in Bangkok, Kaliber technology presented the impressive Ultra High-End speakers Kaliber technology Ulysse X5 – the world's first acoustics, designed in magnesium enclosures.
The use of such an exotic anti-resonance material increased the weight of each speaker to 380 kg – while the external crossovers, also designed in magnesium cabinets, will add another 120 kg of weight. At the same time, the chambers for tweeters and midrange drivers are made using the Solid block CNC method and are made with non-parallel walls.
Kaliber technology Ulysse X5 are equipped with custom Pure Diamond tweeters, 15" woofers with a 4" Voice coil with ultra large magnet work on the bass. The crossovers use Duelund cast capacitors and other audiophile-grade components. The model does not use built-in amplification and requires at least four-channel amplification with a dedicated amplifier for low frequencies.
Kaliber technology Ulysse X5 has a sensitivity of 90 dB. Other characteristics of the model will be announced later.
