The Swiss company Hyper Analogue Production has released a new MC cartridge for vinyl Hyper Analogue Production Hyper Sonic X4 - the model is equipped with the proprietary Multi-Layer Core system and a very powerful magnetic system.
The circuitry of Hyper Analogue Production Hyper Sonic X4 uses a design with a special magnet shape, which helps to accurately focus the magnetic field - this approach allows you to use fewer turns of the coil for a given output level. A smaller number of turns reduces inductance, which affects the flow of electric current and the mass of the moving structure, which determines the compliance of the needle.
Other components of the Hyper Analogue Production Hyper Sonic X4 cartridge do not include any forms of magnetic materials, which ensures ideal distribution of the magnetic field. Even the screws for mounting the cartridge (included in the package) are made of titanium and anodized with gold. All these measures provide better dynamics and nuances of detail.
The cantilever is also special here - it is made of diamond and equipped with a reinforced hardened titanium sleeve. This configuration more effectively transfers micro-deformations created by the tip of the stylus with a Micro-Ridge sharpening to the moving coil. Micro-Ridge, which is as close in shape as possible to the cutter of a master vinyl cutting machine, allows Hyper Sonic X4 to read the smallest details of the groove of a vinyl record and ensures the minimization of noise of the vinyl mass.
The MC generator of the Hyper Analogue Production Hyper Sonic X4 is fixed in a titanium frame, which ensures perfect contact with the tonearm. The body of the Hyper Sonic X4 head is made of titanium. Three tungsten inserts are built into the body to increase the inertial stability of the cartridge and damping.
