British audio manufacturer QUAD has expanded its product range with the new Elegan loudspeaker series, conceived as the most accessible way to experience the brand’s signature sound. The initial line-up comprises two models: the QUAD Elegan 1 standmount speaker and the QUAD Elegan 2 floorstanding speaker. Both loudspeakers were developed under the direction of QUAD Director of Acoustic Design Peter Comeau.

Devialet has expanded its Phantom family of active loudspeakers with the introduction of the specialised Phantom Ultimate CI range for the professional installation market. The series comprises two models – the Phantom Ultimate CI 108 dB and the more compact Phantom Ultimate CI 98 dB. The new speakers are designed for home cinemas, luxury residential developments, commercial venues and other installations requiring centralised control of a multichannel audio system.

Cambridge Audio has announced the global launch of its flagship L/R X active speaker system, which made its debut earlier this year at CES in Las Vegas. Despite their relatively compact bookshelf-style enclosures, the manufacturer positions the model as an alternative to floorstanding speakers, capable of delivering large-scale sound and deep bass. The new speakers are scheduled to go on sale in August.

Vincent Audio has announced the launch of its updated solidLine 2.0 range of stereo components. The first models in the series are the Vincent SV-600 integrated amplifier and the matching Vincent CD-600 compact disc player. The new products continue the traditions of the original solidLine series, introduced in the late 1990s and based entirely on solid-state circuitry.

American audio manufacturer PureAudioProject has announced a new open-baffle floorstanding loudspeaker, the Quartet15. The speakers will make their public debut at the Southwest Audio Fest, which will take place in Dallas from July 23 to 25. The new model draws on the company’s 14 years of experience in developing open-baffle loudspeakers and will expand its Line15 family.

European Audio Team has expanded its product range with two full-size phono preamplifiers, the EAT E-Glo CB and E-Glo SB. Both models are designed for high-end vinyl systems and combine tube-based stages, discrete circuitry, separate channel architecture, and an extensive range of adjustments for matching different MM and MC cartridges.

Marantz has expanded its product range with two affordable components for home stereo systems: the Model 70 integrated amplifier and the CD 70 compact disc player. AVM, also known as Audio Video Manufaktur, has marked its 40th anniversary with the release of a special Black Edition upgrade for audio components in the Evolution range. Austrian manufacturer Wiener Lautsprecher Manufaktur has updated its compact Ella loudspeaker, introducing the second-generation WLM Ella MK2 Purifi Monitor. The name WLM 300 B directly refers to the famous 300B tube, which has long been regarded as one of the symbols of High End tube sound.

Exposure Electronics has expanded its flagship 5510 Series with the addition of the 5510 Power Amplifier mono power amplifiers. The model is designed as a partner for the Exposure 5510 preamplifier and makes it possible to build a separate three-box amplification system aimed at listeners who value high dynamics, precise loudspeaker control and the cleanest possible signal transmission.

Audio Video Manufaktur, known under the AVM brand, is celebrating its 40th anniversary and continues to update its flagship Ovation series. Following the presentation of the new Ovation AS XL reference integrated amplifier, the manufacturer has introduced two new power amplifier models: the Ovation MA 8.3 S monoblock and the Ovation SA 8.3 S stereo power amplifier. With their arrival, the Ovation S range of electronic components has effectively taken its final shape.

Kanto Audio has introduced the Tuk Grand active speaker system, the most advanced model in the brand’s current catalogue. With this new release, the manufacturer is clearly aiming to move beyond its familiar niche of compact desktop and lifestyle solutions. Tuk Grand builds on the ideas behind the original Tuk platform, but does so in a larger format: the speakers feature an enlarged cabinet, increased internal volume and a reworked acoustic architecture designed for more confident low-frequency reproduction, a larger-scale soundstage and a more mature presentation.

Focal has updated one of the most recognizable models in its flagship Utopia series with the introduction of the Scala Utopia Evo M floorstanding loudspeaker. The new model develops the concept of the previous Scala Utopia, retaining its three-way bass-reflex design and signature multi-section cabinet, while receiving major changes in almost all key areas. Focal’s engineers revised the driver array, filters, acoustic tuning and mechanical cabinet structure, while preserving the model’s distinctive sound and its status as one of the central products in the Utopia line.
