American audio manufacturer PureAudioProject has announced a new open-baffle floorstanding loudspeaker, the Quartet15. The speakers will make their public debut at the Southwest Audio Fest, which will take place in Dallas from July 23 to 25. The new model draws on the company’s 14 years of experience in developing open-baffle loudspeakers and will expand its Line15 family.

Cambridge Audio has announced the global launch of its flagship L/R X active speaker system, which made its debut earlier this year at CES in Las Vegas. Despite their relatively compact bookshelf-style enclosures, the manufacturer positions the model as an alternative to floorstanding speakers, capable of delivering large-scale sound and deep bass.
