CH Precision has announced the CH Precision D10 Reference Transport with an innovative laser mechanism MORSE (Mechanically Optimized Reading & Stability Enhancement). The transport itself is placed on a suspended platform of a complex design, equipped with a brass core to suppress vibrations. The transport weighs a record 13 kg and rests on alpha-gel isolators.
The CH Precision D10 supports reading SACD, CD and MQA CD discs. It is worth noting the precision level installed directly on the transport, it allows for precise calibration of the optical sensor and guarantees accurate tracking. The CH Precision D10 uses a top-loading mechanism provides vertical access to the Disc Vault, sealed by motorized hybrid-action door.
The power supply unit of the CH Precision D10 is located in a separate case - the dedicated external power supply (PSU) provides ultra-precise power with an excess reserve of current and voltage. Four galvanically isolated domains independently supply the transport motor, control, DSP, and master clock, eliminating crosstalk. Together with the power supply, the CH Precision D10 weighs up to 64 kg!
