The original concept of the Coturn CT-01 turntable was developed by designer Benjamin Großjohann more than five years ago. He also produced the turntable in small batches – now serial production has been organized by Thorens, and the model is called Coturn by Thorens CT-01.
Thanks to its small size and low weight, it is ideal for mobile use, easily fits into any backpack. The retractable tonearm reliably protects the needle during transportation, and the pre-installed Audio-Technica AT-3600 cartridge provides excellent sound.
The body of the Coturn by Thorens CT-01 turntable is made of anodized aluminum, processed on a CNC machine, which gives the turntable an elegant appearance. The surface of tempered glass with scratch protection and the integrated touch screen are the cherries on the cake.
Thanks to the built-in battery, you can enjoy music for up to 16 hours without recharging. The player offers a wide range of connections - there is a built-in phono preamplifier and a Bluetooth module, plus a line output and a headphone output.
The Coturn by Thorens CT-01 player is available in several color options at a recommended retail price of 450 euros.
