Marten Coltrane Quintet Extreme – Diamond and Beryllium on the March

02.06.2025 07:08 | ~1 minute read

Marten has released the Marten Coltrane Quintet Extreme loudpeakers – relatively compact acoustics that adopt the solutions of the flagship, the Marten Coltrane Supreme Extreme model. Here, too, diamond and beryllium drivers are used, internal wiring is made with Jorma Paragon cable and a precision first-order crossover. The Marten Coltrane Quintet Extreme cabinet, again, is made of carbon fiber laminate with sandwich panels of aluminum, wood and fiberboard – such a design minimizes resonances and guarantees excellent phase accuracy.

The Coltrane Quintet Extreme speakers in an exclusive Piano Oak Green finish will be released in a limited edition of only 10 pairs worldwide, each handcrafted in Sweden.
