CEN.GRAND has released an innovative network transport CEN.GRAND GLD1.0 Deluxe Media Player – data transfer in the model is organized not via the traditional USB bus, but via the PCIe interface. This solution is designed to reduce jitter to zero and minimize synchronization errors and packet losses. Thanks to the upgraded PCIe interface, which the company itself worked on, the streamer promises incredible sound quality.
The transition from USB to PCIe is the main innovation of the CEN.GRAND GLD1.0 model. While USB audio protocols prioritize continuity of playback (even at the cost of data loss), PCIe ensures strict integrity. Within the PCIe standard, data is either received accurately or retransmitted – no approximations or gap compensation. Unlike isochronous USB transfers, PCIe ensures that all data is accurate before it is used
The CEN.GRAND GLD1.0 Deluxe Media Player uses an end-to-end architecture solution. Audio data is transmitted via a proprietary POW (Parting of the Ways) protocol with two channels, where the optical fiber is responsible for signal transmission, and the BNC connectors are responsible for accurate synchronization. This scheme allows for native playback of DSD512 and PCM 384 kHz. Other features include Windows 64-bit OS and 500 GB SSD, HDMI output (including I2S output) and sophisticated control via JRiver (JRemote, Gizmo) and Windows RDP.
The CEN.GRAND GLD1.0 Deluxe Media Player streamer is available for sale at a suggested retail price of $6,900.

Master Fidelity has unveiled the Master Fidelity Nadac L preamplifier, which features a dedicated volume control chip developed in collaboration with a semiconductor manufacturer using a JFET-like CMOS ASIC architecture.
Danish company Lyngdorf has introduced the Lyngdorf TDAI-2210 integrated streaming amplifier with analog and digital inputs. The new amp replaces the well-known TDAI-2170 model and uses a modular architecture that allows for future expansion.
Marten has released the Marten Coltrane Quintet Extreme loudpeakers – relatively compact acoustics that adopt the solutions of the flagship, the Marten Coltrane Supreme Extreme model.
DALI has released the top subwoofer DALI V-16 F – the model has become the culmination of the company's developments in the field of low frequency reproduction. The heart of the sub is the latest 16” driver, which is equipped with a T-shaped ventilated pole piece to ensure symmetrical distribution of magnetic flux through the voice coil. The ventilation hole in this tip expands at both ends, providing turbulent air flow, while two Faraday rings suppress flow modulation.
