Most of the components featured feature advanced streaming capabilities and digital-to-analog converters, so to create a complete music system, you only need to add speakers.

Pros – decent performance at a reasonable price
The new Pro-Ject MaiA DS3 integrated amplifier offers 2 x 80W into an 8-ohm load and guarantees a signal-to-noise ratio of 105 dB with 0.01% THD. Expanded connectivity options allow you to connect up to eight sources to the device; not to mention a built-in digital-to-analog converter based on the PCM 1995D chip, a headphone amplifier, and a 5th-generation Bluetooth module with support for aptX and aptX HD codecs. The Pro-Ject MaiA DS3 sounds vibrant and dynamic and is a perfect starting point for building a basic Hi-Fi system.

The Quad Platina Integrated, which we've already tested, delivers 2 x 200W into an 8 ohm load and guarantees a signal-to-noise ratio of a solid 112 dB with 0.01% total harmonic distortion. Featuring a Dual Mono Class AB circuit, capacitors specially developed in collaboration with Würth Elektronik, a 630 VA toroidal transformer with 44,000 μF per channel, and cascaded voltage regulators, the five years of development have paid off.
