Wattson Madison Power S - External Power Supply

Wattson Audio has introduced the Madison Power S (€2,499) linear power supply, specifically designed for Wattson Madison streamers. Placing the power supply outside the streamer chassis keeps transformer vibrations and electromagnetic interference away from sensitive digital audio circuits.

An external linear power supply of higher quality can improve a device's sound. The Madison Power S achieves this through what Wattson calls a hybrid power architecture: a high-frequency switching stage for efficiency combined with discrete linear regulation at the final output stage. This approach, according to developers, minimizes noise and ripple while maintaining speed, stability, and outstanding current delivery.

The Madison Power S suits all Madison series streamers, past and present. Its footprint matches the Madison LE streaming DAC, allowing neat stacking. Wattson also confirms compatibility with Emerson Analog and Emerson Digital models.
