Majority Stylo and Folio – Affordable Turntables

Majority has introduced two new turntables, the Stylo and Folio, aimed at users looking for an affordable system that is easy to set up. The Stylo is designed for use with external speakers, while the Folio features built-in speakers and can operate as a standalone system without additional components.

The Majority Stylo uses a belt-drive mechanism and supports 33⅓ and 45 rpm playback speeds. Its construction includes an aluminum platter and a straight carbon-fiber tonearm with an adjustable counterweight, anti-skating control and cueing lever. Adjustable rotation speed is also provided. The turntable comes standard with an Audio-Technica AT3600L MM cartridge with a replaceable stylus.

For connectivity, the Stylo offers Bluetooth 5.3, RCA line and phono outputs, a Phono/Line selector, a built-in phono stage and a grounding terminal. The Folio, meanwhile, adds built-in stereo speakers, two-way Bluetooth 5.3 and a USB interface that can be used both to play digital files and to record vinyl records to a connected storage device. Its connectivity also includes a pair of RCA connectors, a 3.5 mm headphone output and an AUX input. Other features include an aluminum platter, an S-shaped tonearm with adjustable counterweight, a built-in phono stage, speed adjustment and a protective dust cover. The cartridge is the same Audio-Technica AT3600L.

The Majority Stylo is already available in the UK at a recommended retail price of £159.95 and comes in Blackout, Sol Yellow, British Racing Green, Blue Steel and Oxblood finishes. The more versatile Folio is priced at £169.95 and, in addition to similar color options, is also available in a Plywood finish.
