Atoll IN800 Evolution – the company's most powerful integrated amplifier

The new Atoll IN800 Evolution integrated amplifier combines a pair of AM400 Evolution monoblocks and a PR400 Evolution preamplifier within a single chassis. It delivers 2 x 350 W into 8 ohms and up to 2 x 550 W into 4 ohms. Each channel utilizes sixteen matched MOSFETs, while the driver stages employ Darlington transistors; the design features a symmetrical topology with low global negative feedback.

The main 1200 VA toroidal transformer is mechanically decoupled from the chassis and features separate windings for the left and right channels. Three additional transformers independently power the control logic (1.6 VA), the digital section (25 VA), and the analog control circuits (7 VA). The total capacitance is 128,000 µF, and shielded MKP capacitors are used for inter-stage coupling.

There is no potentiometer in the signal path; volume control is handled by a dual-channel MUSES attenuator with relay switching.

Connectivity options include two XLR inputs, three RCA line-level inputs, and a Tape input. Upgrade options are also available: users can install the DA800 DAC board and either the P800 or P820 phono stage. Prices start at €11,990, with shipments expected by the end of 2026.
