SMSL has introduced all-in-one integrated amplifier SMSL AS400. This is a universal audio machine for only $279 with powerful DAC, MM phonostage, stereo preamplifier, headphone amplifier and a powerful power amplifier. Housed in a compact case (210×46×254 mm), the amp can be used in a table-top systems.

The Cirrus Logic CS43131 chip is responsible for the sound quality. The built-in USB interface is built on the XMOS XU-316 circuit. The power amplifier based on Infineon MA5332MS modules offers 2 × 85 W at 8 Ohm load or 2 × 165 W at 4 Ohm. There is a volume control based on modern on the NJW1194A (JRC) chip.

The device is equipped with a monochrome display, 6.35 mm and 4.4 mm headphone outputs, and a subwoofer output. Digital inputs include HDMI ARC, USB-C, SPDIF (RCA) and optical Toslink. There is Bluetooth with support for SBC, AAC, aptX HD and LDAC codecs for wireless audio.
