Rotel DX-5 is a compact model, but despite its dimensions, the device does not use digital amplification and operates in class A/B, reaching 2 x 33 W into 4 Ohm load and 2 x 25 W into 8 Ohm speakers. The new product is equipped with a power supply based on a powerful toroidal transformer created by Rotel itself, and high-current transistors.
Rotel DX-5 is also equipped with a built-in DAC based on the modern ESS Technology Sabre ES9039Q2M chip, which guarantees the widest frequency response from 10 to 100,000 Hz with an error of 0.19 dB. The model has one analog RCA input, supports HDMI ARC and is equipped with an output to a subwoofer. The arsenal also includes a USB-B port (32-bit/384 kHz PCM, DSD 4 x), coaxial/optical (24-bit/192 kHz) and a Bluetooth aptXT HD/AAC module.
The Rotel DX-5 is Roon certified and uses a precision volume control unit with 0.5 dB increments and 680 mV sensitivity. The icing on the cake is a full-color TFT display and an aluminum remote control.

The new Nagaoka MP-700 cartridge tops the Moving Permalloy (MP) series and will be available in the standard MP-700 and premium MP-700H versions. Compared to conventional moving magnet (MM) cartridges, the Moving Permalloy (MP) variant features a lighter permalloy magnet attached to the cantilever.
Sennheiser has introduced the Sennheiser ACCENTUM Open TWS headphones – the model, designed in a stylish compact design, promises, according to the manufacturer, exceptional comfort during use and a secure fit.
The Ranieri Audio Labs Varieta preamplifier has been released – the model uses directly heated triodes and allows for a wide range of tubes (300B, 2A3/6A3, 12A/201A, 26, 30, 31, 45, 50, 71A, 801A/10Y, 275A/252A, 245 and 842/VT52 will do). Simply ideal for those wishing to experiment with tube rolling.
Accuphase has introduced the Accuphase C-57 phono preamplifier, based on a fully balanced circuit design from output to input with dual mono topology. The Accuphase C-57 also uses a two-stage solution: the first stage is the output stage to ensure matching with MM and MC cartridges, the second stage is the correction amplifier itself.
Last year, Goldmund launched the impressive Goldmund Rhea and Theia acoustics in active versions with a wireless streamer. The all-in-one solution certainly looked brilliant, but High-End fans often prefer component systems. So now the company has introduced the Goldmund Rhea and Theia loudspeakers in a Passive version.
