Klipsch has introduced the Klipsch Reference R-60M bookshelf loudspeakers. The new model has become the largest bookshelf loudspeakers, complementing the more affordable R-40M and R-50M options. The speakers will fit into both a home theater sound system and a stereo system, providing high-quality sound.
The Klipsch R-60M bookshelf loudspeakers is equipped with a 25-mm aluminum Linear Travel Suspension tweeter, which is designed to minimize distortion at high frequencies. The rest of the working range is entrusted to a speaker with a proprietary copper TCP diffuser with a diameter of 16 cm, which, thanks to the tricle-down technology developed for the Reference Premiere series, provides a “smoother response” and “improved accuracy and transparency”.
In keeping with Klipsch's tradition of using Tractrix horn technology, the speaker features a larger outer horn for better high-frequency directivity and a more accurate soundstage.
The Klipsch Reference R-60M cabinets are constructed from 20mm thick MDF panels and reinforced with internal bracing, which helps reduce vibration for reduced distortion and improved sonic accuracy. The Klipsch R-60M bookshelf speakers are available in a black finish with a suggested retail price of €449 / $399 USD.

Accuphase has introduced the Accuphase C-57 phono preamplifier, based on a fully balanced circuit design from output to input with dual mono topology. The Accuphase C-57 also uses a two-stage solution: the first stage is the output stage to ensure matching with MM and MC cartridges, the second stage is the correction amplifier itself.
Last year, Goldmund launched the impressive Goldmund Rhea and Theia acoustics in active versions with a wireless streamer. The all-in-one solution certainly looked brilliant, but High-End fans often prefer component systems. So now the company has introduced the Goldmund Rhea and Theia loudspeakers in a Passive version.
