Naim Mu-so wireless audio systems have been on the market for quite some time, but now the renowned series is coming under the Focal umbrella. The latest Focal Mu-so Hekla combines the best developments from two iconic brands and offers superb sound quality.

The Focal Mu-so Hekla takes its name from the Icelandic volcano Hekla, a nod to the system's exceptional power. This model is completely versatile and suitable for both stereo music and Dolby Atmos surround sound, with switchable modes from Sphere Music and Sphere Movie (configurations range from 2.0 to a fully immersive 7.1.2).

Focal Mu-so Hekla is easy to install and use and features built-in streaming clients for Tidal, Qobuz, and Spotify, as well as AirPlay, Google Cast, UPnP, and Bluetooth. Control is via the Focal & Naim app, smartwatch (Apple, Samsung), voice assistant, or smart home system. A physical volume control and key functions are also included. The Multiroom function allows synchronization of playback across multiple Focal and Naim devices.
The Focal Mu-so Hekla is equipped with 15 drivers and a total amplification power of 660 watts, capable of filling rooms up to 40 m². A dedicated RCA output also allows for the connection of an active subwoofer. The wide-range drivers generate sound that naturally reflects off walls and ceilings, creating an immersive soundscape, using beamforming and crosstalk cancellation technologies for precise and detailed source positioning. ADAPT intelligent technology automatically calibrates the sound to the room acoustics and the listener's preferences.
In Europe, the Focal Mu-so Hekla is expected to go on sale in the first quarter of 2026 at a price of €3,300.
