Audio Group Denmark has introduced the Axxess Switch network switch for high-end digital audio systems. Developed under the direction of Michael Børresen and Flemming Erik Rasmussen, the new product was designed with an emphasis on minimizing external interference and noise, as well as maintaining the integrity of the data stream. The enclosure and internal layout are designed to minimize interference and vibration.

The Axxess Switch is designed to act as the first link in the digital audio chain, positioned between the router and streaming components. By focusing on stable network traffic processing and reducing electrical noise transmission, it is designed to help maintain clarity when playing streaming audio. Key design aspects include the power supply configuration, enclosure design, and internal grounding. Every element is assembled to maintain signal purity and reduce interference during data transmission.

The enclosure is designed with resonance control in mind, and the internal components are positioned to avoid unwanted vibration and electrical interference. The power supply operates in resonant mode, creating a stable electrical environment for processing the network signal.

The Axxess Switch is equipped with five RJ45 ports supporting 10/100/1000 Mbps speeds and is compatible with Cat5 and higher Ethernet cables.

The company also offers a second model, the Axxess Switch SE. This version uses two proprietary Ansuz antenna resonance coils for additional noise suppression. The recommended retail price of the Axxess Switch in Europe is €800. The Axxess Switch SE costs €1,400.
