To celebrate the 15th anniversary of the company's foundation, Estelon presented new acoustic models - Estelon Aurelia bookshelf speakers (plus Aurelia Centre) and the Estelon Aurus active subwoofer. The Aurelia bookshelf speakers are a two-way acoustic system made in a closed box design.
Designed for small and medium rooms, Estelon Aurelia is equipped with two midrange/low-frequency drivers from SB Acoustics with 5" (132 mm) paper cone diffusers filled with Egyptian papyrus fiber, as well as a tweeter from Scan-Speak with a 25 mm textile dome. The Estelon Aurelia cabinets are made of thermoformed composite with mineral filler - to minimize resonances. With a sensitivity of 87 dB and a frequency response of 70 Hz - 30 kHz, Estelon Aurelia offers 30-80 watts of power. The standard configuration can be expanded by purchasing loudspeakers with branded stands.
The active subwoofer Estelon Aurus integrates perfectly with Estelon Aurelia and previously released floor-standing speakers of the same series (Estelon Aura). Estelon Aurus is equipped with a 1.2 kW Class D amplifier in a bridged configuration, a driver with a long-stroke diffuser with a diameter of 12", a 3" voice coil and a passive radiator.
Along with classic black and white piano lacquer, the finish includes Horizon Blue, Starlight, Amber Elegance and Iron Gray options. In Europe, the recommended retail prices are €14,900 (or €17,900 including stands) for the Estelon Aurelia and €13,500 for the Estelon Aurus.
