Ortofon has pleased vinyl lovers with the release of two new inexpensive cartridges - Ortofon Concorde 5E and Concorde 5S. The first cartridge will cost only 79 euros, the second is even more affordable - 69 euros. The new Ortofon Concorde models retain the well-known integrated design of the original Concorde MkI, which ensures ease of installation and compatibility with a wide range of tonearms.
The Ortofon Concorde 5E cartridge is equipped with an elliptical diamond stylus, which provides precise tracking and reduced distortion, and guarantees excellent detail. With a recommended tracking force of 1.75 grams and a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz, the Ortofon Concorde 5E cartridge looks absolutely universal.
Ortofon Concorde Concorde 5S is equipped with a spherical diamond stylus. This design provides stable tracking and requires less precision when setting up, and also imposes much fewer restrictions on the condition of the record. Specs have not changed - the Ortofon Concorde 5S cartridge operates in the frequency response from 20 Hz to 20 kHz with a recommended tracking force of 1.75 grams.
