dCS Lina DAC X – Digital-to-Analog Converter with Built-in Streamer

British company dCS has announced a digital-to-analog converter with a built-in streamer dCS Lina DAC X. The model is based on the proprietary Ring DAC and Digital Processing Platform; dCS Lina DAC X is capable of decoding audio in PCM format with parameters up to 24 bit / 384 kHz and DSD up to DSD128.

dCS Lina DAC X is a network player that supports high-resolution audio streaming from all major platforms, including Tidal, Qobuz, Spotify and QQ Music, as well as software platforms for managing the music library, such as Roon, Audirvana and JPLAY. In addition, the new product is equipped with a number of physical inputs for connecting external sources, dCS Lina DAC X can be connected to any amplifier, including direct connection to power amplifiers or active speakers.

The dCS Lina DAC X streamer offers the same functionality as the popular Lina Network DAC model, plus a number of additional benefits such as a physical level control module, remote control, support for Hi-Res streaming via QQ Music and the ability to connect to SACD/CD transports.

The dCS Lina DAC X network player is available in black and silver for $15,500 USD. Shipments will begin in June 2025.
