To celebrate its 40th anniversary, Gryphon Audio Designs has released a limited edition Gryphon 40 integrated amplifier. This unit pays tribute to the original vision of company founder Flemming E. Rasmussen and incorporates the modern design approach of Tom Møller.

The Gryphon 40 is based on the renowned Gryphon Diablo 333 integrated amplifier, but the exterior and mechanical design have been reimagined to reflect Rasmussen's original aesthetic ideals.

Each Gryphon 40 anniversary unit comes with a leather-bound manual, a personal letter from Rasmussen commemorating the company's 40th anniversary, and a hand-signed sketch of one of his original design concepts. The model's technical specifications remain unchanged.

The company has not yet disclosed the number of units in the limited edition. Pre-orders are now open at a price of €28,560 – the offer is valid until December 31, 2025.
