AVM Ovation SA 8.3 S and MA 8.3 S – New Power Amplifiers in the Brand’s Anniversary Lineup

Audio Video Manufaktur, known under the AVM brand, is celebrating its 40th anniversary and continues to update its flagship Ovation series. Following the presentation of the new Ovation AS XL reference integrated amplifier, the manufacturer has introduced two new power amplifier models: the Ovation MA 8.3 S monoblock and the Ovation SA 8.3 S stereo power amplifier. With their arrival, the Ovation S range of electronic components has effectively taken its final shape.

The AVM Ovation MA 8.3 S and SA 8.3 S build on the ideas already implemented in other components of the series, including the CS 8.3 S network CD receiver, the AS 8.3 S integrated streaming amplifier, the PAS 8.3 S preamplifier, and the MP 8.3 S media player. The new power amplifiers are designed with AVM’s proprietary tube input stage, fully balanced circuitry, and powerful Class A/AB output stages.

The AVM Ovation MA 8.3 S monoblock amplifier is designed for systems of the highest level and is capable of delivering up to 1.2 kW of power. The Ovation SA 8.3 S stereo model, in turn, offers 400 W per channel while preserving the architectural and sonic principles of the flagship Ovation S series.

Audio Video Manufaktur was founded in 1986 and still manufactures its equipment at its own factory in Malsch, Germany. The anniversary expansion of the lineup underlines AVM’s commitment to preserving the traditions of German engineering while continuing to develop modern High End components focused on power, precision, and versatility.

The new models are already available to order. The AVM Ovation AS XL integrated amplifier is priced at €35,549. A pair of AVM Ovation MA 8.3 S monoblocks costs €50,449, while the AVM Ovation SA 8.3 S stereo power amplifier is offered at €25,199.
