A new floorstanding model has appeared in the lineup of Prague loudspeaker manufacturer Xavian – the Grande Unica, continuing the popular Unica bookshelf monitors. The Xavian Grande Unica loudspeakers are made from solid oak and stand out with their natural, understated design. The cabinets feature a matte lacquer finish with a light natural wax tint, emphasizing the wood grain and making every detail clearly visible.

The enclosures are produced in the company’s own workshops in Hostivice, using 23 mm-thick oak panels. Rounded edges and corners, along with the beautifully organic bass-reflex port, require meticulous hand craftsmanship.

The Grande Unica is designed for typical living spaces and everyday listening. This two-way model uses specially developed AudioBarletta drivers, manufactured in Italy: a treated soft-dome tweeter and two 150 mm mid/bass drivers with polypropylene cones.

The crossover frequency is set at 2 870 Hz, and the system has a nominal impedance of 4 ohms. The crossover employs high-quality precision Jantzen components. Speaker sensitivity is 93 dB. With dimensions of 900 × 200 × 280 mm, each speaker weighs 17.5 kg.

The Xavian Grande Unica floorstanding loudspeakers are already on sale in Europe with a recommended retail price of €2,000 per pair.
