Sphinx was quite a famous name in audiophile circles at the end of the 20th century – and now we are expecting the company’s return to the market (with the support of International Audio Holding, which also owns the Siltech, Crystal Cable and HMS Elektronik brands). At the exhibition in Munich, Sphinx will present new speaker systems Sphinx Element 3 and Sphinx Element 5 – which also use the developments from the Siltech Symphony and Crystal Cable Minissimo Forte speakers.
The Sphinx Element 3 speaker systems implement the proprietary Zero Gravity Bass technology, which allows avoiding distortion due to the design of the cabinet. The speakers are equipped with specially developed PAC (Passive Active Crossover) filters to ensure the joint operation of the speakers – and promise very “fast” sound with deep bass (from 23 Hz!).
In the future, the Sphinx brand plans to expand its range to a full ecosystem of high-quality audio equipment - from loudspeakers to electronic components, inheriting the technical DNA of the Siltech and Crystal Cable brands. Sphinx Element offers a larger volume of cabinet and great bass from 19 Hz.
Full specifications of the Sphinx Element 3 and Sphinx Element 5 will be published at a later date.
