Vincent SA-32MK – Hybrid Preamplifier with 6N16 Tubes and Bluetooth

Vincent Audio has updated its SA-32 hybrid preamplifier with a new version designated SA-32MK. The key addition is a Bluetooth module, allowing music to be streamed directly from a smartphone, tablet, or laptop. However, the manufacturer has not expanded the digital section any further: unlike the anniversary SA-32 AE model, the SA-32MK offers no other digital interfaces.

The unit’s analog circuitry remains largely unchanged. The Vincent SA-32MK continues to combine Class A transistor amplification stages with four 6N16 tubes. This hybrid architecture defines the model’s characteristic sound, which is designed to combine impressive dynamics and spacious presentation with the smoother character associated with tube circuitry.

Despite the addition of wireless connectivity, the Vincent SA-32MK is still primarily designed for use with traditional analog components. Source connections include four unbalanced RCA inputs and one balanced XLR input. The Bluetooth antenna is located on the rear panel.

The output section comprises two variable stereo RCA outputs, a balanced XLR output, and a fixed RCA Rec Out intended, among other things, for connecting recording equipment. Multiple variable outputs also allow the preamplifier to be used in bi-amping systems. Bluetooth remains the only digital signal connection available.

The Vincent SA-32MK preamplifier is available in two finishes: black and silver. The recommended retail price in Europe is €1,490.
