To mark its 40th anniversary, British company Ruark has unveiled an exclusive version of the R810 wireless music system. The design of the new Ruark R810 MiE echoes the look of classic radios from decades past. The model is offered in two exclusive finishes – walnut with a pentagonal pattern and oak with a leaf pattern. Only 50 units will be released, and the rear panel of each system will feature an engraved plaque with a unique serial number confirming authenticity.

The Ruark R810 MiE retains all the standard elements and features of the R810. This 40th-anniversary edition is equipped with two 28 mm silk-dome tweeters, two 10 cm woofers, and a long-throw subwoofer powered by a 180 W Class AB amplifier.

Wireless functionality on the Ruark R810 MiE includes streaming via AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Qobuz Connect, and aptX Bluetooth. Physical connections include an HDMI eARC port, a digital optical input, and RCA inputs. The radio section supports FM radio, digital DAB / DAB+ tuners, and internet radio. A 4-inch color TFT display is fitted on the front panel, while Ruark’s signature RotoDial controller sits on top of the unit.

The Ruark R810 MiE anniversary edition is now on sale. In the UK, the recommended retail price is £6,495.
