The Revox Group has announced a collaboration with the American National Audio Company to introduce new audio cassette tapes. To achieve this goal, the two companies are combining their expertise - National Audio in cassette production, and Revox in audio systems and music recordings, including master tapes.
The collaboration with National Audio allows Revox to produce audio cassettes alongside its own master tapes - a production line for audio cassettes from National Audio is being installed at the Revox factory in Villingen, Germany. With this collaboration, Revox becomes the market leader in the production of both blank and pre-recorded cassettes, and operates one of the largest compact cassette factories in Europe.
Revox's offerings include its own music catalogue under the brand REVOX | Horch House, the ability to supply high-quality products to music labels and artists, and three different types of cassette tapes, including Type II (Chrome). As part of the cooperation, Revox will receive all rights to the products outside North America, while maintaining a presence with its product range in North America as well. Cassette housings are specially manufactured for Revox in Europe. In cooperation with a major music label, Revox is preparing to launch a wide range of music releases on cassettes as early as the fourth quarter of 2025. This launch will demonstrate the relevance of the audio cassette as a medium for high-quality music reproduction.
