Revel is preparing to premiere its new Performa4 loudspeaker lineup, which will be officially introduced at AXPONA 2026. The event will take place from April 10 to 12 at the Schaumburg Convention Center in Chicago. The new series covers a price range from 2 to 7 thousand US dollars per pair and is aimed at the segment where serious stereo systems and home theater setups are most often assembled.
The Revel brand is part of HARMAN Luxury Audio Group, which also includes Arcam, JBL Synthesis, Lexicon, and Mark Levinson. That is why the launch of Performa4 looks less like an attempt to enter the ultra-premium category for image purposes and more like a carefully considered expansion of the range in one of the most competitive classes of the market. In this segment, what matters most is not marketing claims, but the real combination of engineering sophistication, versatility, and predictable sound quality.

At the core of the series is Revel’s signature approach, based on precise measurements and many years of loudspeaker development experience. The lineup includes two floorstanding models – F346 and F345, two bookshelf models – M146 and M145, the C245 center channel, and the B140 active subwoofer. This range makes it possible to build both a classic two-channel system and a full multichannel home theater setup.
For the new models, the company uses proprietary drivers with Deep Ceramic Composite and Micro Ceramic Composite cones. These materials were chosen to increase driver stiffness, maintain low moving mass, and at the same time reduce unwanted coloration. The bass and midrange drivers are mounted in cast aluminum baskets, the shape of which was calculated using Finite Element Analysis for better resonance control, structural stability, and airflow optimization.

The high-frequency range is handled by a 25 mm DCC dome tweeter working together with the seventh-generation Acoustic Lens waveguide. Revel says that this design improves integration between the tweeter and the midrange section, helps control directivity more accurately, and delivers more even sound not only at the listening position but also beyond it. The company also claims higher efficiency and lower distortion.
Visually, the series follows a restrained and contemporary design language. All models feature magnetic grilles with no visible fasteners, internally reinforced cabinets, and neat black accent details. The side panels have a curved profile and are finished in natural wood veneer, available in Natural Walnut and Black Walnut. This design makes the new loudspeakers equally suitable for both classic and modern interiors.
The flagship F346 floorstanding model is built as a 3-way design and features three 165 mm MCC bass drivers, a 165 mm DCC midrange driver, and a 25 mm DCC tweeter with the Acoustic Lens waveguide. The stated frequency response is 30 Hz – 40 kHz, sensitivity is 88 dB, and nominal impedance is 6 ohms. The F345 follows the same architecture in a more compact format, using three 130 mm woofers, a 130 mm midrange driver, and the same tweeter. Its frequency range starts at 36 Hz, while sensitivity is rated at 87 dB.

The M146 and M145 bookshelf models differ primarily in driver size and bass capability. The Revel M146 is equipped with a 165 mm mid/bass driver and a 25 mm tweeter, offering a frequency range from 43 Hz to 40 kHz with 86 dB sensitivity. The more compact Revel M145 uses a 130 mm driver and the same tweeter, with its lower limit specified at 54 Hz and sensitivity rated at 85 dB. Optional MFS4 stands are available for both models, made from aluminum and steel, with integrated cable management and optional spikes.
For multichannel systems, Revel offers the C245 center channel with two 130 mm bass drivers and a 25 mm tweeter with waveguide. Its frequency response is specified at 55 Hz – 40 kHz, with sensitivity rated at 86 dB. The Revel B140 subwoofer is equipped with a 250 mm driver and a Class D amplifier rated at 750 watts RMS with peak output up to 1,500 watts. The manufacturer specifies a low-frequency extension down to 26 Hz. Rear-panel controls include phase and level adjustment, a variable 50–150 Hz low-pass filter, and an LFE input.

Sales of the Revel Performa4 speaker series in the United States are scheduled to begin in April. Recommended retail prices are 6,999 US dollars per pair for the F346, 4,999 dollars per pair for the F345, 2,999 dollars per pair for the M146, 1,999 dollars per pair for the M145, 1,499 dollars for the C245 center channel, 2,999 dollars for the B140 subwoofer, and 699 dollars per pair for the MFS4 stands.
