ONEIROS – speakers made according to the principles of Formula 1 supercars

18.12.2024 07:25 | ~1 minute read

ONEIROS acoustic systems are an example of a combination of engineering excellence and extraordinary approaches to audio. The speaker bodies are made of genuine monocoque 100% carbon fibre composite – exactly the same as that used to produce an F1 car.

The drivers are no less interesting. The bass is provided by 2 x 10” proprietary multi-layer inverted parabolic Twaron graphene nano-composite woofers with 3” voice coil and dual suspension. Excursion reaches 50 mm, and the magnetic system alone weighs 8.2 kg. The midrange frequencies are voiced by a pair of 3” proprietary Dyneema graphene composite domes with single-layer ribbon CCAW underhung voice coil drivers, and the high frequencies are handled by a 1” CVD diamond dome tweeter.

The signal path uses only High End components – capacitors Mundorf MCap SUPREME EVO SilverGold.Oil, inductors Mundorf MCoil CF 70μm copper foil and resistors Mundorf MResist ultra HS 30W. Internal wiring is made of 651 x 0.07 mm OFC copper wire, TPE CL-free insulation.
