OLLO Audio has introduced the R1 full-size headphones, positioned as a universal solution for various applications. The model suits not only music listening but also professional monitoring during recording, podcasting, and streaming.

Visually, the R1 features American walnut ear cups, giving them a substantial appearance. The construction includes replaceable ear pads with faux leather covering and acoustic foam filling, plus a hybrid headband of silicone and stainless steel.

The sound is built around 50 mm dynamic drivers with composite Pu+PET membranes. Developers opted for a U-shaped frequency response, achieving pronounced lows and highs. The frequency range extends from 5 Hz to 22,000 Hz with maximum SPL of 110 dB and impedance of 32 Ohms. The OLLO Audio R1 will retail for $500.
