Moon by Simaudio Compass Collection Launches with the MOON 371 Amplifier

Moon by Simaudio announced its new Compass Collection audio line and introduced its first device, the MOON 371 integrated streaming amplifier. This model delivers 2 x 100W into 8 ohms and increases its output to 2 x 200W into 4 ohm speakers. As is typical for the company, the frequency response is extended from 5 to 100,000 Hz (+0/-3 dB).

The heart of the MOON 371 is the new MiND 2 streaming platform with integrated Tidal, Qobuz, Deezer, and Spotify clients, support for Apple AirPlay, Qobuz Connect, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, and Roon Ready certification. A built-in phono preamplifier is also included, supporting both moving magnet (MM) and moving magnet (MC) cartridges.

The amplifier itself utilizes the technology of the top-of-the-line North series: a hybrid power supply (MHP) that ensures stable operation of all circuits, and a distortion-cancelling amplifier (MDCA) system (MOON Distortion Cancelling Amplifier). The cherry on top is the 17 cm color display that displays album art, settings, and track information. Control is handled by the metal CRM-4 remote control, designed specifically for the Compass Collection.
