Mofi SourcePoint V10 Master Edition - the Largest Model in the Line

The Mofi SourcePoint V10 Master Edition is the latest addition to the lineup. It's a three-way speaker from Andrew Jones, and the pinnacle of the brand's lineup. It features an impressive driver array (1.25" soft-dome tweeter, 10" paper cone midrange, 2 x 10" paper cone woofers, and a 2 x 10" passive radiator with a rear-mounted paper cone) and crossover frequencies of 130 Hz and 1.4 kHz.

The Mofi SourcePoint V10 Master Edition operates from 27 to 30,000 Hz and has an impedance of 6 ohms (with a minimum of 4.5 ohms) with 91 dB of sensitivity. The speakers can handle up to 200 watts of power. The development of the SourcePoint 10 model is clearly a success – by adding two 10-inch woofers and two rear-facing 10-inch passive radiators to the larger enclosure, plus by using the 10-inch coaxial driver exclusively for midrange and high frequency reproduction, the design allows each frequency range to be assigned to its own driver, significantly improving sound quality.

To ensure precise phase matching and thereby achieve a seamless transition between the drivers and smooth high frequency reproduction, the V10 Master Edition uses an adjustable crossover. With this, the listener can tailor the high frequency response to the acoustic characteristics of the room and their preferences using a three-position switch on the rear panel.

The sealed enclosure of the Mofi SourcePoint V10 Master Edition speaker system is constructed from 2.5 cm thick panels and features the SourcePoint series' signature multi-faceted front baffle: specially positioned facets around each driver reduce edge diffraction and unwanted reflections. Separate internal chambers for each woofer and passive radiator minimize cabinet resonance and promote tightly controlled bass reproduction.
