Dutch & Dutch 6c – Active Bookshelf Speakers in More Compact Enclosures

The now-iconic Dutch & Dutch company has announced the Dutch & Dutch 6c active bookshelf speakers – a long-awaited model featuring more compact (38 x 22 x 30.8 cm) cabinet dimensions, matching the globally acclaimed Dutch & Dutch 8c. The speaker system was teased with the slogan "Small by design, powerful in performance, expandable by choice" – and it's now clear that these speakers fully meet these principles.

As the flagship model, the Dutch & Dutch 6c offers built-in amplification, streaming, and RoomMatching for seamless integration with your room. The system supports Spotify Connect and Roon, with support for TIDAL and Qobuz in the works.

The Dutch & Dutch 6c is more than just a monitor. This is a fully-fledged high-end system and, moreover, the heart of a revolutionary floorstanding configuration – the manufacturer promises to release the Dutch & Dutch 6S expansion module in 2026. Together, the 6c and 6S form a complete floorstanding speaker system with a full-range cardioid pattern, very high dynamic headroom, precise bass reproduction, and an even more advanced RoomMatching sound calibration system for better acoustic control. The complete system will be called the Dutch & Dutch 6cS.

The Dutch & Dutch 6c active monitors will be available in December 2025. The optional Dutch & Dutch 6S expansion module is expected to be available in April 2026. In Europe, the recommended retail prices for the new products are:

- Dutch & Dutch 6c – starting at €9,950 per pair;

- Dutch & Dutch 6S (expansion module) – €21,550 per pair;

- Dutch & Dutch 6cS (6c + 6S): €31,500 per pair.
