Michell Engineering has unveiled the Michell Revolv turntable – a mid-range model in the company's product line. The device utilizes the proven TecnoDec platform and enhances it with key developments from the more advanced Gyro model.

The Michell Revolv is based on a skeletal chassis concept and features a rigid design that provides direct mechanical grounding via an inert 19mm-thick aluminum plinth, machined from a single piece of aircraft-grade aluminum. This substantial structure, with excellent vibration damping properties, rests on bearings, each of which utilizes six Sorbothane damping points, further enhancing the anti-vibration properties. The tonearm mounting system is rigidly connected to the chassis, ensuring minimal coloration of the sound.

The heart of the Michell Revolv is an inverted mono-helix bearing with a spiral lubrication channel, which continuously supplies oil and minimizes friction. The turntable's platter is made of Delrin and further reinforced with brass weights. This approach increases the moment of inertia and reduces wow and flutter.

The Michell Revolv uses an isolated external motor, which is grounded and shielded to prevent electromagnetic interference. The power supply housing is made of billet aluminum using the lamshell design.
The Michell Revolv will be available in November 2025 with a recommended retail price of £3,995.
