Michi has expanded its Prestige series with two new components – the P430 preamplifier and the S430 stereo power amplifier. The new models sit one step below the flagship Reference range, which continues to be headed by the P5 and S5, while retaining Michi’s characteristic engineering approach, substantial construction and extensive integration options for modern audio systems.

The Michi Prestige P430 preamplifier combines an analog preamplifier stage with an advanced digital section built around the 32-bit ESS SABRE ES9028PRO DAC. The unit supports PCM up to 32-bit/384 kHz and DSD256 via USB, is Roon Tested certified, and features Bluetooth with aptX HD and AAC support, HDMI ARC, an MM phono stage, two pairs of balanced XLR inputs and three pairs of RCA inputs. For signal output, the P430 provides balanced and unbalanced variable outputs, as well as independent subwoofer outputs.

The Michi Prestige S430 stereo power amplifier operates in Class AB and delivers 230 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 390 watts per channel into 4 ohms. Its power supply is built around Michi’s proprietary toroidal transformer combined with high-capacitance capacitors, while the output stage is designed for high-current delivery. This architecture is intended to ensure stable operation with a wide range of loudspeakers and maintain firm control over demanding loads.

The S430 is equipped with balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs, while two pairs of speaker terminals allow for bi-wire connection. Cooling is entirely passive, with no fans used. The color TFT display can show either traditional VU meters or a spectrum analyzer, combining practical indication with the distinctive visual presentation associated with Michi components.

Both models feature substantial chassis with aluminum front panels and are available in matte black and silver finishes. Together, the P430 and S430 form a complete separates-based system within the Prestige series, aimed at users who require flexible connectivity, support for modern digital sources and high power output without moving up to the flagship Reference components.
