Magico has introduced the Magico S7 2026 loudspeaker, which now leads the popular S Series lineup. The new model features a five-driver, three-way configuration and weighs 174 kg. The S Series began its renewal in 2023 with the debut of the revolutionary S3, which set a new benchmark for performance in its price segment. The following year saw the introduction of the larger and more ambitious S5, pushing the series even further. In late 2024, Magico unveiled the compact S2, delivering impressive power and resolution in a smaller form factor. Now it is the turn of the flagship S7 – bold, uncompromising, and definitive.
The Magico S7 is the result of an extensive research and development program that implemented advanced engineering methodologies forming the foundation of the flagship M Series. During development, a Near-Field Scanner (NFS) robotic system was used to perform comprehensive acoustic measurements across the entire 3D sphere surrounding the loudspeaker. This thorough analysis of both on-axis and off-axis behavior enabled the creation of a complete acoustic map of the S7 and allowed engineers to fine-tune its performance with extraordinary precision. The result is a loudspeaker that approaches the theoretical ideal of a multi-way design – delivering exceptionally accurate, coherent, and realistic sound reproduction.

The massive aluminum enclosure of the S7 features a curved, sculpted form optimized through advanced 3D modeling to significantly reduce internal resonances. The structure increases rigidity and allows Magico’s proprietary damping technologies to operate at maximum efficiency. The curved front baffle further minimizes diffraction, improving overall acoustic performance.
Using a laser vibrometer, Magico engineers identified even the smallest cabinet vibrations and the sound pressure they generated. This level of analysis made it possible to eliminate unwanted resonances early in the design process and achieve one of the S7’s key objectives: a cabinet that adds no audible coloration, preserving the purity of the musical signal.
As a result of optimization, the internal enclosure volume has been increased from 135 liters to 180 liters compared to the previous S Series flagship. This expansion extends bass response by an additional 5 Hz while maintaining the same sensitivity – delivering deeper and more authoritative low-frequency performance without compromise.
Driver technology remains central to Magico’s design philosophy, and the S7 represents the brand’s most advanced implementation to date. At its core is the Nano-Tec Gen 8 cone, featuring an aluminum honeycomb core sandwiched between graphene-reinforced carbon-fiber skins. This structure achieves a unique combination of low mass, extreme rigidity, and effective damping, resulting in exceptionally low distortion.

Complementing the system is a new third-generation driver chassis developed over three years of intensive research. The updated platform improves force distribution, optimizes suspension geometry, and employs a dual-post architecture to balance voice-coil tension. The result is outstanding stiffness, minimized resonance, and improved airflow for cleaner and more precise sound. Sales of the Magico S7 are scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2026. Recommended retail pricing will be announced at a later date.
