Vinnie Rossi is launching a new, more accessible equipment line called Canta, with the Canta Phono Preamplifier being the first device in the series. In the autumn of 2026, the lineup will expand to include the Canta Integrated Amplifier, Canta Preamplifier, and Canta Stereo Power Amplifier.

The input stage of the Vinnie Rossi Canta Phono Preamplifier is built using discrete JFETs; there are no integrated circuits in the signal path. It features a dual-mono architecture, consistent with the company's design philosophy.
Power is supplied by a low-noise, super-regulated Belleson power supply. The chassis is machined from a solid block of aluminum, providing structural stability while also acting as a shield between internal circuits.

Gain settings range from 36, 40, 46, and 52 dB up to 76 dB, making the unit compatible with MM, MC, and MI cartridges. Load capacitance for MM cartridges is adjustable between 100 and 400 pF.
All settings are shown on a display and saved in non-volatile memory; a low-frequency filter is also included. Connectivity options include both XLR and RCA.
