The complete HOUCHMAND M1 streaming audio system is presented - hand-assembled in Pforzheim, Germany, the model promises unprecedented realism in sound quality, high-end finish and design, as well as plug-n-play ergonomics. The HOUCHMAND M1 can work both in wired and wireless streaming mode and uses the built-in DSP for Room EQ Purity-Path-Technology, promising perfect adaptation to a specific room.
Particular attention has been paid to the finish - as the manufacturer claims, "encased in precious metals and piano lacquer, HOUCHMAND is a minimalist design piece with a maximalist attitude." When creating the model, design techniques from the jewellery industry were used, and all metal elements were machined from solid metal and polished to achieve a mirror-like surface with 24 ct gold, 18 ct red gold, platinum or ruthenium.
Active acoustics and streamer can be controlled both with the included remote control and with the iOS and Android app. Among the built-in streaming services, it is worth noting Spotify, TIDAL, Qobuz and Deezer. Among the switching capabilities, it is worth noting the USB input, and the SSD is not forgotten.
