Goldmund has unveiled the Eidos Excellence SACD, a new CD/SACD player in a two-box configuration with an external power supply. The Eidos Excellence SACD redefines physical audio player capabilities.
The Eidos Excellence SACD combines ultra-precise electronic architecture with a precision SACD transport. This synergy guarantees unprecedented sound quality, absence of noise, and reliability. The SACD format, using the DSD 2.8 MHz standard, is reproduced with exceptional clarity thanks to low jitter, a vibration-isolated transport, and dedicated DAC chips - one per channel. Goldmund considers the Eidos Excellence among the most accurate SACD players available today.
The optical disc transport is built around the Suppress Vibration Hybrid drive, ensuring silent operation and uncompromising digital data retrieval accuracy. The power supply architecture reflects decades of Goldmund research, generating each voltage separately for left and right channels, ensuring an exceptionally quiet signal path.
