FiiO has introduced the JH13 hybrid in-ear monitors. One dynamic low-frequency driver and two balanced armature drivers work with a precisely calculated crossover, complemented by an effective asymmetric magnetic structure. Combined with an ergonomic shell featuring zebrawood exterior panels and a quality OFC cable, the JH13 presents an intriguing proposition in the affordable segment.

The JH13 employs solutions typically found in more expensive models - such as the asymmetric magnetic structure and ultra-lightweight CCAW voice coil. At its core is a hybrid assembly: a 10 mm dynamic driver handling tight, controlled bass, paired with balanced armature drivers tasked with high-frequency reproduction. The driver handoff is smoothed by a precise crossover, delivering a neutral, finely structured sonic signature suited to a wide range of genres.

Like FiiO's higher-end models, the JH13 uses asymmetric internal and external magnetic structures. This increases magnetic flux density in the voice coil area, accelerating the driver's response to signal changes. In practice, this translates to higher transparency, crisp attack, and increased sensitivity - crucial when driving IEMs from smartphones or compact dongle DACs. The retail price will be €50.
