Eversolo presented a universal audio product Eversolo Play CD Edition - a network amplifier that also combines a streamer, digital-to-analog converter, CD transport and MM/MC phono preamplifier in one case. This is definitely a "Swiss knife for sound".
The 5.5” HD touchscreen of the Eversolo Play CD Edition provides an interface for navigating through streaming and all other capabilities of the device - while control of the platform on a modified Android OS is also possible through a mobile application.
Digital-to-analog conversion in Eversolo Play CD uses an Asahi Kasei AK4493 chip (32/768, DSD512 and MQA). Wireless capabilities include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX support, and built-in Tidal, Qobuz, Spotify clients, as well as Roon certification, are not forgotten. The Class D amplifier achieves a signal-to-noise ratio of 109 dB and promises an output power of 60 watts when working with a load with a nominal impedance of 8 ohms and 110 watts for 4 ohms. All this magnificence is controlled by an ARM Cortex-A55 CPU.
The Eversolo Play CD Edition network integrated amplifier will go on sale in Europe at the end of May 2025 at price of 799 euros.
