DALI Kupid – Five Color Options and a Low Price

DALI has announced two-way bookshelf speaker systems Kupid – the model can be designed in as many as five color options, Black Ash, Walnut, Caramel White, Golden Yellow and Chilly Blue. The retail price is 338 euros per pair – so these speaker systems will be the most affordable in the model range of the famous audiophile company.

Thanks to its compact dimensions, the DALI Kupid speakers can be installed even in very small rooms, and the minimum distance from the walls, according to the instructions, is only 2.5 cm. The model uses a patented 4.5” woofer/midrange driver with a paper and wood fiber diffuser, a ferrite magnet system and a rubber surround. A specially developed 26 mm ultra-light soft dome tweeter produces detailed high frequencies with smooth dispersion. The tweeter panel design is carefully tuned for seamless integration with the midrange driver, which creates a holistic sound canvas.

The drivers are controlled by a specially developed crossover, which ensures precise time alignment. The Dual flare bass reflex is precisely tuned to optimize airflow and minimize unwanted resonances. Like all other DALI speakers, the Kupid sounds good at both low and high volumes, making it suitable for any listening scenario.

Speakers The DALI Kupid features a stable impedance that never drops below four ohms, allowing it to drive a wide range of amplifiers, including budget Hi-Fi models and all-in-one network amplifiers. The speakers are supplied with wall mounts and rubber feet.
