The speaker system has a four-band configuration, in which five radiators are organized. The speaker set includes a 12-inch bass unit with a polypropylene diffuser, which operates in a closed box, and two 4-inch speakers that sound the lower middle and also operate on their own enclosed acoustic volume.

Each McIntosh XRT2.1K is equipped with 6 x 8' woofers, 2 x 6.5' modules work on the lower midrange, followed by a separate unit containing 28 x 2' (upper midrange) and as many as 48 x 0.75' tweeters.

This is a four-way speaker with a bass reflex design and a proprietary array of speakers. In total, each speaker has 70 emitters: 4 6.5-inch woofers, two 6.5-inch midbase speakers, 24 2-inch midrange speakers and 40 0.75-inch diameter tweeters.

The McIntosh XR100 black floorstanding speakers can fill even a large room with rich and high-quality sound with a power of 600 watts. Each speaker has 11 drivers of different types, which can reproduce deep bass and high tones. The drivers, which reproduce sound in medium tones, have a concave dome made of titanium. And the speakers reproducing high and low frequencies are equipped with additional side magnets. This provides an increase in magnetic flux with the small size of the speakers themselves, which leads to improved sound.
