German company Burmester calls its new Burmester 232 integrated amplifier “swiss army knife” for audio. The model offers high fashionability and optional offers a full set of streaming functions.
The Burmester BC350 acoustics are equipped with two 32 cm woofers for bass, two 22 cm drivers for midrange, and two Air Motion Transformer speakers sound the high frequencies. The speakers can operate in two modes - Pure, optimized for audiophiles (focusing on resolution).
The towers are 1,433 mm high, weigh 195 kg and, according to the developers, "make an innovative leap in sound quality." An 18-cm speaker is mounted on an aluminum plate in an MDF case. Twitter has been adapted to the new acoustic conditions. Drivers with oval coils are responsible for the medium frequencies. A large magnet plays an important role in high sound quality.
The Burmester BX100 speakers offer true High-end sound with luxurious full-spectrum detail and brilliance. The model is designed according to a four-band scheme and guarantees reproduction in the entire audible frequency spectrum (from 20 to 30,000 Hz). The modular design of the system makes it possible to radically reduce body resonances.
The model is a three-lane floorstanding loudspeakers, the dimensions of each column are 210 x 1165 x 460 mm. The speaker set includes an Air Motion Transformer (AMT) ribbon radiator, a 17 cm midrange driver with a fiberglass diffuser, and a side-mounted bass speaker with a 32 cm double-layer cellulose cone and a powerful neodymium magnetic system.
Like the older B38 model, the Burmester B28 floorstanding loudspeakers have a three-lane design. But unlike the "38's", here all the speakers are located on the front panel of the case. At the same time, each of the drivers is placed inside the case in a separate isolated chamber. To eliminate microphone effects that can negatively affect the frequency response, the crossover is also placed in a separate camera.
By design, this is a classic 2.5-band speaker, while the woofer and woofer/ midrange speaker are "borrowed" from the textbook shelf model B10, which has been successfully produced since 2011. The case is just over a meter high and weighs 35 kg. It is made of MDF sheets with a thickness of more than 30 mm, and the midrange/treble speaker bundle is additionally reinforced with an aluminum panel.
This amplifier was developed in honor of the 30th anniversary of the company. It is assembled manually at our own enterprise.
A small and compact preamp. Its design is entirely made up of Top Line elements and is thus a recognizable Burmester product.
The high quality of the 035's work is mainly due to its larger counterparts in Burmester Reference and TopLine. The signal paths to the XLR connectors are optimized in the preamplifier.
The Preamp 100 includes all the company's innovative technologies and the best components, ensuring high-quality operation.
The Burmester can have seven linear unbalanced inputs and three more balanced ones; you can also connect to an MM or MC phono corrector, the latter with both balanced and unbalanced connections. Each of them has its own (replaceable) module connected to the main board.
The mono amplifier 159 has absorbed all the developments accumulated by the company over the past 8 years until its release. The design of the 159 Mono Power Amplifier has been adapted to modern realities.
The device develops a power of 2 x 600 watts per channel when operating on acoustics with a resistance of 4 ohms, and when switching to bridge mode, it is able to output up to 1930 watts at the same load. The amplifier has a fully symmetrical circuit, the input stages of which are made using proprietary X-Amp technology and operate in Class A.
This monumental yet stylish power amplifier easily handles even the most demanding speakers.
The 216 amplifier will help acoustic systems achieve realistic surround sound even with low impedance values and complex loads.
The model has a traditional design for the brand. The amplifier works particularly well with low frequencies, providing detailed and deep sound.
The model has the family features of the family of branded 909 and 911 tips. It traditionally uses a balanced circuit with full DC coupling without the use of separation capacitors. The input stage is equipped with discrete X-Amp modules (Class A).
This model boasts fast signal processing and the ability to apply high currents. They are responsible for the detailed and uniform sound.
The model 032 belongs to the Classic line in the Burmester nomenclature. The manufacturer claims proprietary technology for the amplifier in its maximum implementation, a balanced design with direct current communication, the absence of capacitors in the signal circuits, and proprietary protective circuits against overload and other abnormal conditions.
The Burmester Integrated Amp 082 integrated stereo amplifier is part of the company's Classic series of components, and has inherited many of the family traits of its high-end amplifiers. The device's circuitry is based on the rejection of the use of separation capacitors, which are a potential source of distortion. The output stages of the amplifier develop sufficient output current for full pumping of acoustic systems with complex impedance characteristics.
Output power (at 4 ohms load), W – 120 x 2 | Frequency response, Hz – 5-60,000 (at a level of -3 dB) | Harmonic distortion + noise, % – 0.015 | Signal-to-noise ratio, dB – more than 92.
The player is based on the 175 model. It is equipped with a gimbal-mounted tonearm that bends naturally by the geometry of the pickup head.
The 175 record player has a sandwich-type structure consisting of two layers of aluminum and another layer of brass between them. This design principle ensures optimal damping and lower resulting resonance.
The Burmester CD Player 069 is equipped with three digital inputs to which digital signal sources can be connected in order to improve their sound quality. Before entering the digital-to-analog converter, signals from all sources, including their own CD drive, are upsampled to 24-bit / 192 kHz parameters.
Like all Burmester products, the 089 CD player is assembled manually by highly qualified specialists at the Berlin factory.
The players are assembled manually and thoroughly tested with 300 computer tests before entering the market.
The CD Player 102 is a direct drive with a front—mounted CD tray. Its ideal partner would be the integrated Class D amplifier 101.
This center combines the functionality of a CD player, a digital-to-analog converter, an analog preamp and a CD ripper.
The Burmester 151 MK2 plays music from both a built-in 2TB SSD and external storage devices via USB or LAN. The device supports Internet radio and streaming services such as Tidal, Qobuz and Adagio. over a wired or wireless network.
This model is based on the 151 Music center model, but unlike it, it is equipped with a built-in power amplifier. It works with DSD and PCM resolutions.
