The English company Vertere Acoustics has introduced a new model of the DG-X vinyl record player, which is supplied from the factory in several configuration options – including even a tonearm and cartridge.
The price of the model varies depending on the configuration within the range of £3,650.00 – £6,500.00, with the basic RAW Package including the DG-X Turntable, Grooverunner X tonearm, external DC2 Power Supply and Technomat (there is no cartridge included). The extended Sabre Lite Package is already sold with the Sabre Lite Cartridge, and the Dark Sabre Package also includes the Dark Sabre Cartridge and a set of cables for connection.
According to Vertere Acoustics, the DG-X combines an improved drive unit and precision bearing with the redesigned Grooverunner X tonearm to deliver maximum performance. The bearing, motor, suspension and three-layer plinth construction used in previous models work together to eliminate unwanted resonances. The Grooverunner X tonearm also features a new main bearing, as well as optimized internal wiring and connections. Full specs coming soon.
