The Beatles' Anthology series is coming November 21-26, 2025, in a remastered form with an expanded documentary series, a music compilation, and a book.
On November 21, 2025, 12-LP and 8-CD box sets will go on sale, and a digital format for streaming will also open. Both box sets will include the original liner notes for Anthology, as well as new comments on the tracks of Anthology 4.
On November 26, 2025, the eight-part documentary Anthology will be available exclusively on Disney+ - in a restored and remastered form, telling in detail the formation of the most successful group. The film will include a new ninth episode, which shows previously unpublished footage of Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr.
The Apple Corps team worked on the Anthology documentary series with Peter Jackson, director and producer of the 2021 miniseries Get Back, and Giles Martin, who created new audio mixes for much of the music featured in the Anthology.
The Beatles Anthology music editions will also be updated. The original three-album double-album set, remastered by Giles Martin, will be expanded with Anthology 4, a new disc featuring 13 previously unreleased demos and studio recordings, plus other rare material. Anthology 4 will contain new mixes of “Free as a Bird” and “Real Love,” both released on the original Anthology, as well as “Now and Then,” “the last Beatles song,” released in 2023. The first two songs were "revived," according to a press release, by original producer Jeff Lynne, who used demixed vocals from John Lennon.
Also, a 368-page anniversary edition of The Beatles Anthology will be released.
