The Italian company Audel has announced a complete desktop stereo system consisting of the Audel Nika Trend bookshelf speakers, the Audel U-DAC, and the Audel U-AMP. The highlight of the system is its several designer finishes, including the Art Mosaic option and the Burl Walnut and Walnut versions, which pay tribute to the traditions of Italian craftsmanship.

Each component is handcrafted at the company's Palermo factory and visually coordinated with the other elements of the system. The Audel U-DAC digital-to-analog converter is built on an ESS Sabre ES9038Q2M DAC chip and is complemented by an Amanero Combo384 USB interface. The system supports PCM up to 32-bit/384 kHz and DSD up to DSD512.
The Audel U-AMP amplifier is based on Class D circuitry and delivers 2 x 50W of power into 8-ohm speakers (and 2 x 75W into 4-ohm speakers).

The Audel Nika Trend speaker system features full-range 3-inch drivers and is based on the Audel Nika mk3. The entire system is easily wired and connects to a PC via USB. There are no additional digital inputs for other sources (the digital-to-analog converter itself is connected to the amplifier via analog RCA).
The recommended retail prices for the system components are: Audel Nika Trend – €990, Audel U-DAC – €690, and Audel U-AMP – €640.
